These kind:
I have a million scraps of fabric that are just a little to small to make clothing for Brooklyn (Unless I want her to have patchwork clothing), so they are perfect for making yo-yo's, fabric style.
I've decided that I'm going to make a quilt top with them...someday...years from now....because I need 500 for a twin size quilt top.
I have 4.
So, I'll be giving you a yo-yo count update as they come...and someday I'll be showing you the quilt...Maybe by the time Brooklyn heads off to college...
Despite these distractions, I have managed to get some of Brooklyn's book done:
Yes, the "rough" page turned out look a little rough itself...
....Coincidence?
I wanna know whose pants you stole to make these pages.
ReplyDeleteDid you embroider those words free hand or did you use a pen or something to write on them first? I need to show you my embroidery project I did last summer. I feel like showing you and possibly wowing you a little will make me feel better.
Will you teach me how to do geneology too? I have a lot of time at a computer and I want to do that. You know everything so I thought I'd ask you.
I love your craftiness. And I love yoyo's - i helped make about 200 for my sister's wedding - we stacked smaller ones on top of big ones, glued an old fashioned button on top, and whammy, a cute pin for each guest to wear! And do you make those appliques for the onesies, or do you buy them?
