POCKETS!
And this butterfly dress...
...has pockets. Though I realized they are really hard to see in this picture. They are there.
And they are perfect for carrying around all the rocks and pebbles she's brought home from the shore.
Unfortunately, the dress drags around her ankles and is a terrible dress for running around in the summer. (Still waiting to get to the summer here in Seattle...)
So, I simply cut two 2 inch strips off the bottom.
Sewed them into one long strip, gathered it and reattached it as a ruffle!
Ready for running around outside!
